As a former employee I would not reccomend this place to anyone. As an employer or as a place to eat. Cigarettes are regularly smoked in the back by the old owner and the new owner has screwed so many people out of pay that he shouldn't even show his face. I was making great money working for this company until Checks started to bounce. That was when I decided to quit . He currently owes me 2 pay checks . And w-2 forms and from what I understand not one employee got w-2 forms for 2016 I personally hired 3 delivery drivers and the company also owes them money. It's gotten to the point that I had to file a complaint with the department of labor.
3rd time we have ordered and it has been delivered wrong.
We have been life long luigi fans! But I have had it! $70 for dinner which is fine for a family of 5. But when it's delivered incorrectly that's annoying! We can't enjoy dinner tonight and eat together as a family because of this nonsense! Its unacceptable and will be our last time ordering.
Since they moved to the new location on Sunset Avenue, the pizza is not the same. Not great. Deliveries are terrible, very late. And now, I am owed a credit in my account as I used my debit card....still waiting. If I don't receive it in the next day, I'll call to try and resolve and then sign a complaint if there is no resolution. It is the principal and to me, this is the end of my calling this pizza place..
This is by far the best pizza and Italian cuisine on the Jersey shore. It has been family owned and operated for generations. The pizza is unique and like any other shop i've ever been to. My favorite food here is the sausage and eggplant. All the sausage is made in the shop and they only use meat from the shoulder of the pig. If you're looking for real Italian cuisine at the Jersey shore, this is always the place I recommend first.
AWFUL! The food was cold when delivered. I tried twice and both times the same thing. The second time I ordered a chicken murphy dinner, and i got a container of penne pasta with some crumbled chicken pieces on the top, and some cold chopped cherry peppers in a separate container. Most of the container was oily pasta. Chicken murphy is served with potatoes....and that's what they tell you on the menu. I also got some cold, clearly frozen, fried ravioli, and the order was over $27.00. Do not waste your money. Inedible!
